Rex Brueggemann
Rex Brueggemann was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, and grew up in Port Huron, Michigan. Rex graduated from the University of Michigan (BA, English) with distinction, and from the University of Michigan Law School. After law school Rex worked with Wayne County Neighborhood Legal Services in Detroit, and then Legal Services of Southeastern Michigan, representing low and moderate income clients in a range of civil matters. Rex then worked as a domestic relations Referee for the Van Buren County Circuit Court from 1995 until 1998. Rex is currently is in private practice with Rex Brueggemann, P.C. His practice focuses on divorce and family law, and estate planning. Rex is trained as a mediator. Rex has been involved in the community as a board member and then President of the Arcadia Neighborhood Association.
Rex also served on the Kalamazoo Public Schools Student Assignment Committee (2008-2009). Most recently, Rex served as a member and then President of the Kalamazoo Central Football Booster Club. Rex and his wife Namita live in Kalamazoo with their two sons, Raj and Nikhil.
